The Philadelphia Eagles have officially promoted Kevin Patullo to offensive coordinator,
continuing their commitment to internal continuity under head coach Nick Sirianni. Patullo, who
previously served as the Eagles’ passing game coordinator and associate head coach, takes
over the role following Kellen Moore’s departure to become the head coach of the New Orleans
Saints.
Patullo has been with Sirianni since their time together with the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to
2020, where he worked as the Colts’ pass game specialist while Sirianni was the offensive
coordinator. Their longstanding working relationship played a key role in Sirianni’s decision to
elevate Patullo to OC.
“That continuity is really important because he knows what I’m thinking in certain
situations, how you want things to be taught,” Sirianni said.
Before his time in Philadelphia and Indianapolis, Patullo gained coaching experience with the
New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, and Kansas City Chiefs. His familiarity with the
Eagles’ offensive system should provide Jalen Hurts with much-needed consistency, as the
quarterback has gone through multiple coordinator changes over the past few seasons. With
Patullo leading the offense, the Eagles aim to maintain stability as they prepare to defend their
Super Bowl LIX crown.
