The Philadelphia Eagles are on fire, and last night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams was no exception! The Eagles dominated the Rams 37-20, with Saquon Barkley leading the charge.
Barkley had an incredible game, rushing for a franchise-record 255 yards, including two massive touchdown runs of 70 and 72 yards in the second half. He also added 47 receiving yards, making him the first player in Eagles history to have 300 scrimmage yards in a game
The Eagles’ running back is on pace to break the NFL rushing record, and his performance last night only solidified his position as a top contender for the award. Barkley’s 255 yards rushing is the ninth-most in a game in NFL history, and he’s now leading the league with 1,392 yards rushing.
The game started off slowly, with the Eagles leading only 13-7 at halftime. However, Barkley’s explosive runs in the second half helped the Eagles pull away from the Rams.
Jalen Hurts also had a solid game, throwing for 179 yards and a touchdown, while A.J. Brown caught six passes for 109 yards and a score.
The Eagles’ defense was also impressive, sacking Matthew Stafford five times and holding the Rams to just 20 points.
With this win, the Eagles improve to 9-2 on the season and solidify their position as a top contender in the NFC. Saquon Barkley’s incredible performance has Eagles fans excited for the rest of the season, and his pursuit of the NFL rushing record is definitely something to watch.
