By Will Peralta

Jordan Poole’s NBA journey has been a wild ride, and his current season with the Washington Wizards is a testament to his hard work and dedication. But before we dive into his impressive stats, let’s take a look at his backstory.

Poole was drafted 28th overall by the Golden State Warriors in 2019. During his early years with the Warriors, he showed flashes of brilliance playing both in the g league and next to Steph Curry in the NBA but it wasn’t until the 2021-2022 season that he truly broke out. That year, he averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game, while shooting 44.8% from the field and 36.4% from three while also winning an nba championship

The following season, Poole continued to impress, averaging 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, while shooting 43.8% from the field and 34.2% from three. However, his role fluctuated throughout the season, and he eventually found himself in and out of the starting lineup.

In the 2023 offseason, Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards, where he’s currently having a career year. But it’s worth noting that his first season with the Wizards didn’t exactly go as planned. However, he’s since bounced back, and his current stats are a testament to his growth as a player.

He is currently averaging 21.1 points, while shooting 46% from the field while also dishing out 4.6 assist. All which are career highs! Although this low in the standings aren’t where they want to be but it’s still early in the season! One thing is certain – Jordan Poole is a talented player who’s worked hard to get where he is today. And if his past performances are any indication, he’s sure to continue making waves in the NBA.
